We had an absolutely lovely long weekend at this heavenly place. Barbara’s home was immaculately clean and had everything you could ask for - all amenities, the little thoughtful touches, beautiful decor.. it truly felt like a home away from home. Barbara and Peter were very warm and welcoming hosts and gave us lots of tips on the various nature walks etc around the area. The neighborhood is so peaceful and serene - a perfect escape from the hustle bustle of city life. We would definitely be back the next time we are around blue Mountains! Thank you heaps to the wonderful hosts!

Great relaxing atmosphere! Loved the natural surrounds and the beautiful birds that would come by with their happy, gleeful chirps. Really beautiful indoors also with just about all amenities needed within reach. Barbara was very welcoming and friendly & is easy to reach at all times. Would definitely come again! Thanks so much for opening up such a beautiful reviving place!

Poetsridge Escape was the most idyllic get away. Peter and Barbara are the best hosts! They took such wonderful care of us from great communication before we arrived to multiple over the top help during our stay! We enjoyed the wild life right out in the deck. The birds ate right out of our hands. The apartment had everything we needed. If there was anything we needed Barbara got it for us or helped us get what we needed. It is about a 15 minute walk to the public bus. We enjoyed the walks. Springwood is a quant little town. We had a great massage from the local Thai massage spa. It was a nice retreat to have after going through Katoomba and all the walking/sightseeing we did. The Blue Mountains area was breathtaking.

The accomodation is a heaven on earth. It is located besides a forest and a good place to relax. It is a big flat in a family home with a seperate entrance. It is equipped with everything you can imagine like a beemer, a barbecue on the spacious veranda, a modern and big bathroom, washer, dryer, towels, bed sheets and even bird seed :) It is decorated in detail and with so much love. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night. As we saw the beautiful flat and the location besides the forest, we spontanously decided to stay in the flat in the evening to relax in the pleasant atmosphere. With the birdseed that Barbara provided in the flat, we attracked some animals during the evening (4 cockatoos, 2 opossums and 2 wonderful red birds) who visited us on the veranda and who even ate from our hands. It was such a great evening and a wonderful start in our vacation in Australia. We highly recommend this accomodation of Barbara and Peter! Furthermore, Barbara owns a glass art gallery in her house with beautiful hand made pieces of art that is really worth a visit. Thanks again for everything. Our stay was incredible awesome and we would love to come back. Best, Marco and Laura
